- It has been recorded from Bamo and Khoshk Mountains in the Garmian area; near Darbandikhan Dam and Basne Village in Sulaimani Governorate; and Sakran and Halgurd Mountains in Erbil Governorate. A fossil of this species has been recorded from the archaeological sites of Hazar Merd and Shanidar Caves. Governorate: Erbil; Sulaymaniyah
